April:

• Blessing worked on the Campus Chat series, which this time featured a video focused on academic skills support. She coordinated with the relevant team who covered details of their support services and encouraged students in need to access this support.

• Additionally, she supported a student who had been excluded from the university, guiding them through the appropriate procedures to successfully regain admission.

• She also completed EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) training to better understand how to make projects, union activities, and officer roles more inclusive.

• Blessing participated in a university feedback session regarding the transition to a "Connected Curriculum,” a new academic model aiming to integrate generic skills focused courses across different faculties. She specifically attended the session for HSS faculty, where academic staff shared feedback. More updates on this initiative are expected soon.

• Had a meeting with Careers and Employability to discuss venue and capacity for the event, which is planned for May in collaboration with Careers and Employability.

• She engaged in discussions about changes to the university's timetabling system. More information will be shared when the process gets clearer.

• She also attended a student conference in London focused on Nigerian students studying in the UK. This helped identify additional support resources available for this group.

• Finally, she was involved in the recruitment process for the new CEO in the Union, taking part in the stakeholder panel.

March:

• Participated in elections, won the elections, and took the opportunity to thank all the students who voted.

• Helped the Nigerian Society organize their first meeting on March 14th.

• Working on organizing an event to help students with businesses learn how to use social media to skill up their business.

• Had a meeting with Careers and Employability to discuss venue and capacity for the event, which is planned for May in collaboration with Careers and Employability.

•The event will focus on branding and teaching students how to make their business more visible.

• Working with Simon to find the best approach for improving timetabling.

• The university is reviewing how timetabling is structured, and BO is analyzing how it works.

• BO proposed the idea of an app where students receive automatic notifications about timetable changes.

• Seeking student input on the proposed timetabling improvements.
